This is in response to Charles's latest posting re: the Warriors.  I wish I knew how to link to his posting.  Such a LJ n00b.

signing monte to a 6 year 60+ million contract is a good start.
they'll need to make a trade during the year, lol, cuz right now the team's lineup as ostler says is shaky.

btw, u can link my posting if u want, i think there is a link button so just try it and it should work.

Yeah I read that a couple of days ago too. I'm a little bit more optimistic though. Yes, it'll probably take a little while for this new team to gel together, but that'd be the case no matter who they got. Baron leaving was a blessing because this roster we have for the upcoming year is STACKED. if B-diddy stayed we would've maybe been a fringe playoff team maybe... that case could be the same this upcoming year but at least through all the offseason moves we made thus far we got bigger, younger, and perhaps even FASTER. We have a future. We're now loaded with 3 point shooters. like If Al, Captain Jack, and/or Maggette get cold, we can put in Belinelli or Morrow. And our front court just got beefy. We got Turiaf who i think will work great in Nellie's system and we got Hendrix. Wright's gonna get more minutes hopefully and Anthony Randolph... WOW this guy has been impressive. I can see him being a franchise guy sometime down the line. If Ellis and Marcus pan out well then 8th seed here we come.
