Kurt Vonnegut, How I Love Thee

I just finished Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut. I started it yesterday. I read it like lightning. I think my reading days are back. I've been watching too much tv lately. i like this post and your list. remind me and i will drag out my stupid journals from my 18th year when i was seriously reading KV and i will show you all my favorite quotes.

i also just re-read S5 and it was so much better than i had remembered. i am now hitting up the budding geniuses of my age bracket who owe some serious debts to KV:

Jonathan Safran Foer (i almost cried before i fell asleep last night while reading his latest, "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close"

Gary Shteyngart (his only two novels are two of th funniest, true books i have ever read)
