Day 8:
Sage is one of those girls who walks in and is exactly dead on.  Whatever you need, she understands and just...becomes.  Not to mention she is open to viturally every idea.  So when I told her I was thinking of binding her to a grate which weighed about 75lbs, she was all about it.

Day 6:
Jaded Sarah has been a member of the studio since the start and is one of those indespensible people. As a model, she is talented and definately willing to push boundries every chance she gets.  Undeniably an amazing person and great to work with.

Day 5:
In talking with Holiday, who wanted to swing by and hang out, I found out she had a friend who was interested in modeling.  We did a few test shots, I really liked her look and personality.  Victoria Von Doom has great potential and is definately has an amazing tolerence, which is important for the type of challenge I like to provide models ( Read more... )

Day 3:
For those of you who don't know, Bete` Noire is quickly moving to Philadelphia's icon status.  She is an amazing girl, and it would not be a stretch to call her a body artist.  She can move and contort into almost any form.  She was an obvious choice for this project not only because I thoroughly enjoy her precense but to make a sculpture you ( Read more... )

Lately, I've been thinking in terms of mixing mediums. Using models in terms of their sculptural qualities and moreso as a part of the medium, not just as the subject.  here is the start of a new idea/project.
