I think that ultimately John is a really nice guy, but when he's cranky, it's turned up to 11.

oh. completely.. He has just had enough. And he's fed up with being pushed around for being the normal one all the time. (He will only tolerate that from Sherlock,but that frustratuion had to go somewhere.)

I've been reading a lot of "John gets kidnapped" fics. And while they've all been great, I said "Isn't he tired of getting kidnapped? What would happen if there weren't drugs or guns involved?"
