Ugh, everything about this was pure perfection (okay so maybe the historical inaccuracies bothered me a little, but I'm a freak xD). Anyway, Klaus and Caroline were great.

My favourite parts were her coming back after seemingly leaving and the thing about Tyler (the tension of that moment).
And the comment about her struggling, or rather her struggling? HOT (this feels wrong, but...well, I like a lot of things that are wrong, serial killer vampires being one of them).

First of all, THE STRUCTURE! How I love the structure. I went through a love affair of using definitions as prompts/intros and so I fullheartedly approve. Especially with these words, and this prompt. Perfect. Second, THE FLASH BACKS! How I love the flashbacks and comparisons, the years that are jumbled into Klaus' head and how then he has this intense focus on Caroline, perfect. I love how the sex is so parsed out, you have these small, important detailed vignettes, with just sensation and feeling, and it makes the last bit stronger to me because it's like this with one time has already been set up as the cycle that you're alluding it will become.
