I'm not living up to either of those maxims.

Went to the coffee house open mic at Buon Giorno tonight. Saw a lot of people. The music was great, I was really impressed with how much talent my friends have.

Felt a bit emo and unappreciated.
I'm sure it's all in my head.

I'll sleep it off.

I hate the holidays because they make me feel outcast and lonely.

When the season hits a cloud raining melancholy hovers over my head, like one of those cartoons.

It's fucking lame, but it happens every year. And then when the holidays are gone, so is the insecurity.
