I won't survive when all the days are like this. In my area of LA the average day time temperature has been about 108 degrees the past several days, and in downtown LA they reached 113 degrees today--an all time record ( Read more... )

You should move to Canada with us! We're planning on marrying my friend's husband...that is, if they allow bigamy. Maybe we can all have a huge wedding and get green cards.

I'm somwhat torn on it. I hate that the creepy fundamentalists are on the same side as the hippy-dippy poly types on it.

I've been hearing that it's suddenly gotten all hot down in LA. My sister described it as "great tanning weather".

Today I called my insurance company to make a change in my policy and the person on the other end asked me if I was being effected by this heat wave. After a pause I said, "Kinda? It's 75 out...it should be, like, 55." It's warm in Seattle, but definitely no 113.

Beautiful cool autumn days here in wisconsin!! THANK GOD! The heat was unreal this past summer.. for a week or so.!! Ready for the snows!! :)
