on thursday two weeks ago, a surgeon removed a massive ball of cancer from inside me. it had eaten my right kidney, and was headed for the artery going into my heart. there were some complications beforehand, i was admitted for a pre-op procedure on friday and was supposed to have surgery on monday, but it had to be postponed since my blood was ( Read more... )

Great to hear that your "done" and hope that your going to be on the road to not only recovery, but more happiness. Glad to hear your better and thank Ren for letting me know last time he was at the park on how you were doing.

well holy shit. I didn't even know anything was going on! So you don't have to do chemo or radiation? I'm very happy for you having caught that. Go you!

thanks! and nope..it's not an area that they CAN do radiation or chemo. so i'm VERY lucky. if they hadn't caught it, it would have gone into my heart, and i would have died. yikes!
