Did Not Do The Research
I just read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Meh.
Then I stumbled onto Pottermore, and read about MACUSA - the American equivalent of the Ministry of MagicI was already dubious about JK Rowling having done adequate research before inventing her history of wizarding North America.
