When they took the stitches out it was like instant relief. I still have a bit of pain, but it's much better. They gave me this squirty syringe to spray the food particles out of my lower jaw with, too. It's so cool to see how much food actually accumulates in the two gaping holes in the back of my mouth. Now to make my wisdom tooth earrings...
