my boyfriend and i met as a direct result of an ill-advised tryst with a fair weather friend of mine. if it doesnt exactly sound fortuitous, thats because it was not. it took months of weirdness and an insistence by said fair weather friend of potential loverboys creepiness factor before i relented and accepted his hand. of course, hed withdrawn
