I can loan you A million little pieces if you want.

I read Nickeled and Dimed for one of my Sociology courses in school. I really liked it.

That is, if you want to. :)

By the way, I was glad to hear your mom is doing better with things, and you seem lots happier yourself lately. Hope all is going as well as it seems!

Sure! A friend of mine currently has the book, but I can get it to you when she's done? Maybe we could even meet up in oxford or something and I can give you the book there ;)

LOL @ my impatience to read something I'm DYING to read. I looked everywhere I've been this week for the book, and finally found it Saturday night. So, thank you so much for the offer, but I couldn't wait to read it! I hope it turns out as well as I'm getting excited for it to be... the beginning is pretty captivating.

:)

Memiors: Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman [One of the best autobiographies I have read in a LONG time... I highly recommend this!]

Also, I believe I have one of those $7 paperback versions of Angels and Demons on my bookshelf. If I do, I can throw it in the mail and send it off to Middletucky for you.

oohh... thanks for the suggestion! And, if you do have the book and want to send it, I will totally send it back to you. I do want to read Davinci Code first, though.

You wouldn't have to worry about sending it back, you could just pass it along to someone else. It's one of those books that's really fun to read, but it's kind of hard to re-read [at least for me].

Also, I wasn't sure if you knew this or not, but Angels and Demons was actually written before the Davinci Code, but it didn't get popular until after Davinci code was such a hit. I wasn't sure if you wanted to read Davinci first because it was the most popular one, but neither book really spoils the other one as far as reading order goes.

JODI PICOULT! greeneyedchick February 3 2006, 06:05:52 UTC
I read all of Jodi Picoult's books...They're fiction but very, very hard to put down once you start. They have real life situations and conflicts that you would never think of. Eye opening...

The first one I read was MY SISTER'S KEEPER....I totally recommend it, or any of her novels for that matter. her writing is so detailed. It's like watching a movie as your reading. You don't just see one person's point of view. Each chapter is titled a character's name and it's in their point of view, so you really get a grasp on everyone's thoughts and feelings (if that makes any sense!) haha Right now I'm reading VANISHING ACTS which is excellent so far as well.

I loved my sister's keeper! It's definitely been my fave Picoult book thus far. I also really liked Plain Truth and the Pact.

Ooh, good suggestion. I love Nicholas Sparks and have heard of his memoir, but I forgot all about it. Thanks!

And is Wicked like Wicked, the musical? Or totally different?

It is the book that the musical is based on. Although I recently saw the musical in chicago, the book is so much better. There is a sequel that came out this year and it is really good too. I think it is called Son of a Witch.

Also there is a book called Sam's Letters to Jennifer that is very good, but I can't remember the authors name. Either Nicholas Sparks, or James Patterson. Both authors have some strong reads that most people don't know about since they aren't as popular titles.

Happy Reading!

Thanks, and thanks again! I love both Patterson and Sparks, and I'm guessing the diary book is Patterson's, because I own one by him called "Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas."

Great suggestions, and I saw Wicked last night at the bookstore. :)
