dear shadow alive and well,

today i saw something, indeed
graceful in the morning light.
there were no death-knell premonitions,
but birds, and tall grasses, waiting.

they knew, still.

this year i make no resolutions,
no promises, but to my shadow,
graceful in the morning light.

why is it that every year i think i have plenty of time until christmas... until a week before? then i think SHIT christmas is in a week and i have TOO MUCH TO DO!!!

man. my late-night semi-drunken post is full of grammatical errors. my apologies. i blame the wine.

so... i'm not in duluth. my truck seems to be broken. i am very upset, but trying to contain it in hopes that it can be fixed by tomorrow.

random things:

-i now drink wine.

-i have an unbelievable craving for sushi.

-i can knit a kodama.

-batman is amazing.

-i'm a damn good cook.

also... i would like to point out that i do not own the dark knight.
