So, registering for classes while abroad is far easier than doing it at St. Mikes. At 11:01 my time (7:01 EST), I clicked 'register' and less than a minute later, there were my classes! I was fully anticipating it taking at least a half an hour, with server freezes and so on, that I came down to Nelson house to register instead of doing it at home ( Read more... )

When traveling to Dublin, it is a good idea to reserve a hostel. It is a doubly good idea to reserve a room in a hostel that actually exists. Yes, you read that right. The full dramatics is behind the cut; Abby and I are physically safe (though emotionally exhausted), as is my bank account. We met quite a few Irish angels this weekend.

We got back yesterday from a week long stay at University College, Oxford. I really enjoyed being there, however, it came at an awkward time. Two weeks was just enough time to settle in and get comfortable in Bath, and then all of a sudden I was living out of a suitcase again. Besides that, it was great.
