1: Pick sixteen films you love / thoroughly enjoyed.
2: Find one screen capture for each film.
3: Post the pictures with the rules; let your readers guess which still is from which movie.
4: Post the answers, and pick a winner.

(01)( half are easy, half are embarrassingly obscure. Good Luck )

Okay okay okay I got it:

1) I Heat Huckabees (the sign's in the background... but you're starting me off easy)
3) Addams Family Values (the movie we couldn't make it through together)
6) Fargo?
7) Big Lebowski
13) Doctor Strangelove

...do I win?

Huckabees was a freebie :P I thought one of them should be easy since the last picture is from a semi-obscure French film from the late 90's. A lot of them aren't horribly obscure, but I think the only people that could get all 16 would be people that have taken film classes.

6 isn't from Fargo, but it's a dark comedy like Fargo. I'll give you a hint, it's actually an Alfred Hitchcock movie from the 1950's.

alright, lets see if i can guess a few more...
you're right, #1 was painfully obvious.
#2 reminds me of the dreamers but if i'm completely off, well...it reminds me of it anyway
#5 might be hackers
#8 could possibly be high fidelity but once again, i could be wrong
#10 i'm almost positive is pretty in pink (it might be 16 candles, i haven't seen either movie in a long time, but i'm 99% sure it's pretty in pink)
#11 pretty sure is save the last dance...never saw the movie but the scene was in previews for it a lot
#12...really, really bothering me that i can't come up with what it is
that's all i got to add...i'm not a movie buff so i'm not toally sure of any of these answers

You only got 1, 10 and 11 right. So far, Dan is in the lead, but he has it easy since I've forced him to watch a few of these.

When are we doing a Thursday at Luna?

or better yet...

COCKTAIL NIGHT with Sex in the City and the Saved by the Bell game!

OMG i went to luna this thursday (2 days ago) for the first time on a thursday and people there dance absolutely insane to 80s music. it was so much fun. only bad part was, i stayed till 2 am and slept through my alarm missing class yesterday. anyhoo, i'm always up for dancing to 80s night so whenever you want to go just let me know and i'll set my alarm extra loud for the next day. hell, what are you doing this coming thursday? we should go to the next one if you aren't doing anything. also, if you want to have cocktails and sex and the city/saved by the bell i have thursdays and saturdays completely off and other than that, the week is pretty packed except at night (which usually always works for me anyway) so a saturday might work best but yeah...get back to me-i usually never plan ahead so i shouldn't be busy whenever you want to...hell, i might go to luna by myself to visit gen tonight because apparently everyone but me does plan ahead. ok, this is too long, get back to me and have an excellent day

I've got nothing that others haven't said, but is that Eddie Izzard I see in #5? If so, you must tell me what movie that is. He is the sexy.

That is so weird because even though that's actually Ewan McGregor in glam rocker garb, Eddi Izzard plays a big part in that movie!

And yes, you must see this movie because, once again, Ewan shows off his wang in this movie, and any opportunity to see Ewan Mcgregor's wang MUST NOT be wasted!

The movie's Velvet Goldmine. It's an indie film based on the life/music of David Bowie, and it's all about the Glam Rock craze in 70's England.

A movie that involves, David Bowie, Eddie Izzard, AND Ewan McGregor's wang? I must see this.

Wow! You definitely work at a video store, but it's not Groundhog day and it's not Possession.

I still can't believe you got The Trouble With Harry, and I'm mighty proud that you knew it was Adventures in Babysitting.

You're definitely the winner for knowing number 6!
