Huzzah, big victories!
So I GOT INTO GRADUATE SCHOOL!
I got accepted into American and Waitlisted at GWU.
But unfortunately, both are without funding. I'm super nervous about taking out SO MANY LOANS, but I guess I'll figure it out. I'm trying really hard to get a paid internship up there, though, and take it from there. Maybe I'll enroll or maybe I'll wait a bit longer ( Read more... ) -

Just chilling here on a screened in porch, updating from lovely Ocracoke Island. Now, most people who know me are aware that I don't really like the beach. One of my guilty pleasures last semester was watching the Vampire Diaries late at night when I should be sleeping/doing productive things. They aren't well-written and some of the characters drive me absolutely bonkers (wtf Bonnie, you're such a biiiiitch) but the plot is a bit addictive.
