I impulse got my hair cut today.  I found a salon on google and went for it.  It ended up being the best salon experience ever!  I would highly recommend the Capricio Salon on Oakland in Milwaukee. Jackie was super nice and went through every process of styling with me so that I can (hopefully) do it on my own.  I'm glad I was feeling impulsive ( Read more... )

So Jason and I went on the shortest bike ride EVER this morning.  We woke up and I felt ambitious so we put air in the tires, found our helmets and decided to actually use the fancy bikes that we've had for years now.  It was really fun.  I am hoping that this is the start of me being active now that the weather is nicer.  It was a short bike ride ( Read more... )

I am feeling quite accomplished as of late.  Yesterday I got a new vacuum cleaner because the old one is officially broken.  I got new vacuum bags, but then it started smoking and reeking so it is gone.  The new one is a Kenmore canister vacuum and it works amaaaaazingly.  It's so quiet and it even works on hardwood floors.  I never thought I'd be ( Read more... )
