Tis the season for getting jobs! I got one too! Yeah! I'll be working at my place of former employment, the amphitheater in Pelham. (Verizon Wireless Music Center.) I start in January and I'll basically be an office assistant helping out with the management side of the concert business. I am just so elated right now. I'm so thrilled that it is finally fall! I love it!!!! Although last week I came down with a pretty bad cold. It was so scary b/c I could hardly breathe when I was coughing. I bought my first dog yesterday!!! I suppose it was a present to myself. I got him at the Birmingham Humance Society and that facility is truly amazing. He is a beagle mix...the body of a beagle and the coloring of a hound dog. Black fur with tan on his legs and face. TOO CUTE ( Read more... ) -

Yes! I got in to graduate school at UAB!!! FINALLY! It is quite a relief...and a little scary at the same time. But I am looking forward to taking classes again. I am going to Sips N Strokes on the 28th of August at the Vestavia location if anyone wants to go. I have already bought 2 bottles of nice French and Italian wine for the occasion! www. I feel old.
Another year older and I feel like an old woman. My bones crack like an 80 year old. I probably should be doing something to change that....I had a very nice birthday though. After a long, gruling week at World Market I had to yet again close the store on a Saturday night. And to make a long long long story short myself and two other managers were CONNED!
