Well, fourth, third, and us on the second, but pretty much yeah. The building's at least fifty years old. What we think happened is that someone above us tried to install their own cable (cheap + dumb = bad combination) and snipped a wire they shouldn't have. Ugh.
Don't go installin' your own wires! Please stick to the regulation ones that you're s'posed to! I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothin' at all, but I think you're screwin' us all! (Oh, you're screwin' us a-all).
I was kinda glad to miss the election, actually. Much less stressful to do it the way I did - play video games all night and check my texts every hour or two for David telling me how it was going. :)
Hooray for internets! Without them, civilization itself would crumble!
...so, there was this hurricane, and an election, and daylight savings time, and probably some babies were born and some old folks died, and the wheel in the sky keeps on turning, and there you have it.
Also, I went to Georgia and wrote a travelogue! But that's not important right now. ;-)
Wait, Atlanta-Georgia or Tblisi-Georgia? Because the latter beats all for awesome but the former is where I'm at now and I would be most displeased if my lack of internets prevented me from having a chance to meet someone awesome from the internets. :P
Yep, I got the edges of said hurricane and got to hear a lot of grumping in the wake of said election (stupid blue state, I'm not used to this yet).
Yes, the latter Georgia. If I am ever in Atlanta-Georgia, I now know to look you up for pudding and drinking! But Tbilisi-Georgia is good for just drinking. And stuff. Read my fun-filled action-packed bloggy entries for all the juicy details!
