hey! I've never read Cormac McCarthy, can I claim it? we could work out how to send/get it, for overseas mail purposes. in any case, which are ones you thought were excellent?
Ach, I *think* my friend Kelly made a claim on it last night, but I was so tired I was practically drunk, so I'll have to double check.
The ones I thought were excellent were Bastard, Amulet (because I'm incredibly lame), Like a Hole in the Head, and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, if only for the depiction of the science teacher. None of them had much reread value, though.
Hey by the way, I saw The Lucksmiths on Monday, and it was the most magical experience of my life.
It was weird. It wasn't very exciting, and the politics are kind of boring. If you're looking for slightly annoying gex-x political sci-fi, Jim Munroe does it soooo much better. Angry Young Spaceman had a much more ridiculous premise and was much, much better.
