Chloe and Socks
I'm picking up Socks the puppy today from the vet where he was neutered. Chloe is coming along and I'm to drop her off to Amanda (the other foster mom of her buddy Sassy). They are due to be adopted out together. I'm so glad, they obviously miss each other! Chloe has overall been a great first foster! -
Beautiful Saturday morning
Well, the crate situation has been solved. And I'm getting some dirt delivered this morning, so I should be able to work in the front yard today and get that where I want it to be. Why am I so damn stressed???
I didn't sleep well last night and I just seem to have a million and one things on my mind. I feel like I'm behind on so much stuff! We were going to redo the laundry room in the basement, but that got side tracked due to weather. Both not being able to pick up supplies, and now with the basement flooded. Tomorrow's the big day!!!
We pick up out first foster dog tomorrow at 1 in Waterloo and I'm so nervous! But excited too! She's a black lab from down in Cedar Rapids. There are 2 of them, but another foster is taking one. I feel bad that they have to be separated, but she will hopefully make friends with my dogs ( Read more... ) -
Earth Day
I ran errands today and actually got a lot done. Did some returns :) I always like getting money back! I stopped by T's to drop off the playdoh I had made for the daycare kids and to see how she was doing. She has a full crowd tomorrow so I offered to "work." Too much thinking for a Monday night
Maybe it's just that I haven't been out of the house or even out of bed in the last 3 days. Or the fact that "Marley & Me" had me bawling my eyes out. But I'm just in one of my moods. Some things just aren't meant to be
I had an Email in my inbox this morning that Emma, the dog I was interested in, was adopted over the holiday weekend. She asked if I was interested in any others, but I don't think so. It's not that I was actively looking for another dog. I just happened to come by her online and was curious. So, maybe it's a sign, it wasn't meant to be *sigh* -
My life has gone to the dogs, literally...
I turned in an application to look at another dog. That would bring our total to 4! Am I nuts?!?! But people would never question a couple if they had another child... Why is it so different? Roller Coasters and Tonsils
Geez, I should really start moving my butt today! Put in 5 days at WW so I'm beat today. Slept in a bit but I have so much stuff to do. I leave for Michigan tomorrow.
