yes, i want to date him. and fall in love with a non-fictional version of holden. we've had this conversation. he's splendid. i liked a version of him once... we both know how that ended up.

I loved Catcber in the rye, but it makes me so sad how well we can all relate to him. So cynical and so Him against the world. I sometimes wish i wasn't so disconnected.....

i love his cynicality, its one thing that makes him so grand. i like being cynical, its "sexy".
