RMS and Summer Course

So a lot has been going on in the last eight days. I went to Redland MS and met the principal. He was a nice man, very casual and down-to-earth. I got a good vibe from him. He told me he was going to talk to my adviser, learn about what roles and responsibilities the cooperating teacher would have to take on, and then discuss it with the teacher to ( Read more... )

O no! That must have been disappointing about Redland MS. That is a shame about the cooperating teacher- she should be happy to mentor and give advice to a student. It may ease your workload to not be a para though. Seems like a lot of extra work.

I'm so glad you have a nice professor. It's soooo nice to get that kind of recognition. She seems to be working ya really hard though. Yikes! I hope that the projects are useful to you. I've had projects that really were not.

Yeah, it was rather a disappointment. If anything I would be doing the teacher a service to help out in her classroom - I'd be paid as a para, but she can use me to help her out professionally..I don't know. But ah well. At least now I don't have to go to an almost-all day training on my bday :P

Yeah, seriously! I'm so glad I have this professor too. She just finds a way to warm my heart with her words and inspire me in ways that not too many professors were capable of doing at Hopkins. A fine way to complete my coursework before my internships, I must say! :)
