Made myself a new icon - it seemed fitting, as I enter yet another new phase of my existence. Taken from Deb Koffman: Art for the Soul, one of my all-time favorite sites. Go there now. Deb is a family friend, and she's provided me much inspiration over the years. I think I need it now, perhaps more than ever.

I don't wanna go...I know that's not exactly the best attitude for a teacher to have on a Monday morning, but I don't exactly feel like a teacher lately. I'm watching kids week on Jeopardy, and I've only gotten a handful of answers right.

I usually rock at Jeopardy.

I feel dumb.

...but at least I wasn't dumb enough to quit my job today...even though I came thisclose.
