i dont so much think your first block class are fascists. i think its more so they are brainwashed by the idea that standing up for your beliefs is ok as long as its congruent to the beliefs of the "patriotic" majority. thats such bullshit. this country was founded on freedom of speech and freedom of religion (or beliefs) ideals. its nice to know that our youth have been brainwashed with this brain rot.
fuck'em. they dont know what they stand for anyways.

grrr.
in this country you should be able to burn a flag in protest without getting arrested. you should be able to protest a war that is BEING FUNDED BY OUR TAX DOLLARS. it is our obligation in this country to Question leaders, and Question thier motives. anyone that believes doing any of this is "unamerican" or "disrespectful" or "unpatriotic" is obviously no aware of thier job as a citizen of this nation and needs deported to a country in which it is unpartiotic and disrespectful such as communist china. =p

Apparently, it's a school rule that we have to stand, but we don't have to recite the pledge.
A guy apparently got sent to the office today for this exact reason. And you're right, you should be given the right to stand or not to stand.
