Getting back into the swing of writing and having some fun with LJ again. It's been several months but I think I just needed a place to put the swirling thoughts down where I can look back and remember. Work, an amazing woman and school usually take up most of my time but I'll be making more updates as I think it's important to have an outlet.

So my birthday is coming up this coming Tuesday (April 10th) and I've finally secured a place to have it :> (thanks to Laura&Athena). Another day, another dollar. Went to Austin this past Saturday (all the details are in KenTheSlayers LJ) for a gun show that went over pretty well. Got to shoot a gun called the "pantha' killa'" so i view it as a success. Didn't do much else, but i safely say without humor that we nearly sunk the cursed black pearl with nothing but our bellies.

Today's a beautiful day IMO with its cold, crisp air and clear blue sky. As such i'm sitting at work in my own cubicle minding my own business and trying not to bring down the entire network in one fell swoop. I'm comforted by the knowledge that i wont have to deal with traffic anymore coming home or going to work thanks to my new schedule ( Read more... )
