really? WS is pretty standard in these parts... plus they are pretty much in every mall so it's convenient for most people... I've been ogling the MA pan forever so I now that I think about it I don't feel so bad about my impulse buy. I hope it comes next week because I have a work BBQ to go to a week from saturday and i've been told to bring a desert!!

The closest WS to me is in Toronto. I think if you live in Toronto proper, you're more familiar with WS. I bought my bridesmaids WS aprons and had them monogrammed as their attendant gifts. A few years ago, I bought a Chantal enamelled stove-top kettle from WS in butter yellow. I like how they have special WS colours.

Caroline and types like her would think registering at a place like WS is stuck-up and pretentious. I think it's because she doesn't know how to cook and even if she interested in cooking and baking, her skills will always be limited. Her output doesn't match the quality of the products there.

Linens N Things is her thing which is not my thing.

Do you think you'll be doing something like the mascarpone & berry cake?

It depends what is available at the farmers market that morning... I think rasberries and blueberries are right at the end of their season so we'll see.

I know the guy who is hosting (w/his wife who I actually know from college)loves chocolate desserts so if the farmers market berries don't look too hot maybe I'll make something similar to the pic... I hope it gets here in time!!
