This is a short announcement to say I got my job at the PRI for the summer. w00t.

Weirdest thing happened today - I was singing O Canada to myself randomly on the way to school, and I passed a huge, red maple tree. As I sang, a big red maple leaf nailed me in the eye. I think the occurrence is symbolic.

I need to post to get rid of a lot of steam. So much has been happening, I don't know where to begin. I've already finished an exam and three assignments. I have submitted my Prospectus for my Masters Research Project (thesis). My legal briefings have been chugging along, case by case, and I'm absorbing case law as spongelike as I can. So, I went on my Ottawa trip on Thursday and Friday. I couldn't stay with Florence in Ottawa because I came down with bronchitis on Wednesday and just barely made it through the two days (in quarantine in my hotel room when we didn't have speakers). I realised I am not a fan of orientation weeks in general. Too much upheaval, too many commitments, and not enough alone time. Maybe I'm an introvert, even though my professionally done MBTI says I'm an ENTJ, with my closest second being ENTP.
