1) In Spider-Man, The First Movie (TFM for short) we'll call it, Robbie Robertson in an earlier scene is talking to J Jonah Jameson about Spider-Man at the Daily Bugle. Jameson requests, demands perhaps, a better picture of Spider-man on the front page, to which Robbie replies that "Eddie has been working on it all week. He can't get a clean shot

i blame people not knowing about roderick kingsley from watching the animated spiderman saturday morning cartoon.
any guesses as to who the big bad will be in the third movie? i'm guessing green goblin II based on what raimi has already set up, but i can't say ... that i wouldn't be displeased to see some of the symbiotes. or see jj's boy turn into that werewolf.

I SO thought in the second one when his web wasn't working that he was going to end up making his own webshooters. I'd love to say I was diappointed, but I can't, because I wasn't. At all. Oh well. Throw more trivia or banter at me.
OH! And maybe more with Curt Conners? He has to be wondering by now if he can regenerate that arm...eh? ...eh?

i'm a little wary on having more than villain for a movie, lest the whole film be bogged down a la schumacher with the batman films.

i was dissapointed that the powers that be made a switch from mechanical webshooters to organic ones. then again, they did quite a bit of creative editing (re: gwen stacy) so i'm hoping the third film stands up.

Anyway, as for schumacher, or "that hack" as he's referred to, I'll have to debate (which some disagree with) that Tim Burton did a fine job on Batman Returns while using both Catwoman and Penguin at the same time. I think it was after that point, when the bat nipples and flourescents, and unecessary sidekicks and vehicles, and different batmen took over when it went downhill. They could have made a wonderful movie following "A death in the family" and having the Joker kill Jason Todd. But I digress.

If Venom were in a Spiderman movie, I would have to change my boxers. The only comics I ever read were those with Venom in them. I loved how he was so well-spoken and had a sense of justice, yet was still an unstoppable homicidal badass. He's like the gentleman you'd love to be killed by.
But for Venom to make an appearance, there would have to be a LOT of shit to go down. First, Spiderman would have to participate in the Secret Wars in space, picking up the symboite along the way; Spiderman would have to expose who the true Sin-Eater is, causing Brock to lose his job and have an insane hatred of Spiderman; the symboite would have to try to bond with Parker; the symboite would have to find Brock.
That's a whole lot of stuff to happen, but if it did-- I would love to see how they pull Venom off.
