I didn't use you as an example, merely a catalyst if anything. I mentioned that in my title.
Aside from that if my dad, for example, drinks, he isn't going to write about it and say that he drank or how much. It's just not an issue when you reach a certain age, and if I drank I don't think I would be of that age either. It's not something I notice from people over the age of say twenty five. That's the frank truth of it.
it was fucking amazing! how else would it be? you get a slight buzz & you think you're going to puke...so, it's kind of like alcohol, if you squint your eyes.
I think you miss the point of most of those stories. most of those stories are about what the person did with their friends, drinking just happens to be the excuse they need to get together to hang out.
granted, some people do think "dude, I can slam 17 beers and barely have a buzz" makes them sound cool, but I know those people arent the kind of people you tend to hang out with.
oh, and just because that dude slipped a ruffie in your soda at the bar the other night doesnt give you the right to pass judgement on everyone how likes the occasional buzz.
