Though I always get into these routines where I write for a while, then I just stop. I think I'm under the impression that Livejournal posts needs to be one of two things:

Short, and somewhat witty, or long and somewhat introspective and wise.

Otherwise I fear it turns into "Dear diary..."

Postscript. If I wanted to read the mother fucking newspaper or a 'witty response' to some recent social/political event, I'd go somewhere else.
