I decided against going to DC this summer. Instead, I'm doing a policy research internship with this guy at the Baker Institute here at Rice for the first six weeks of summer. He hasn't decided what topic he's going to be working on, but it's either U.S. border security or some kind of international trade policy stuff.

I feel like I haven't really had time to see anybody while I've been home this week. Giving up a relaxing spring break has been well worth it though.
