After looking through my lj calender, I realized that yesterday marked the third year i've had this thing.

Happy Birthday Deanne's Livejournal.

It is all at once exhilarating, cathartic, and scary as hell to send an e-mail in which one is completely honest with both one's self and the recipient. I wish Thank God Gmail had doesn't have an "unsend" button.

This month has been bad.

I don't know if God exists, but he's been hearing a lot from me lately.

I've been very productive lately craft-wise and I made a recipe box out of a cigar box from work and matching recipe cards. As I was copying my recipes, I realized how few I have. I could search allrecipes.com or something, but I would rather have "tried-and-true" recipes as well as a name to put in the "From" line on the recipe card ( Read more... )

I got a $4 tip today on a $3 drink. Although I greatly appreciate and enjoy tips, I feel so guilty for taking them. I just make coffee. In this particular case, I filled a cup with ice, got a pitcher out of the refrigerator and filled up the cup. That did not merit a $4 tip. It was nice though ( Read more... )
