That was interesting. Just had my first California earthquake.

I wish there more to it than that, but that one sentence captures it succinctly. Of course, if I were to say this directly to my friends and associates, I would receive one of three possible replies:

1) Get out and meet people.

2) Oh give it a rest, Jay. Stop whining.

3) That's awful. I'm so sorry to hear that.

..or some derivative ( thereof. )
