I'm pretty sure they don't. They mostly live in the now. Though they do remember bad stuff, like where they were hurt or scared (just think Vet!) But I don't think they are capable of regretting actions.

I;m going to go for yes. Since I've had a series of monogamous relationships. Now, granted, they didn't last very long, but I still had them. Is that to say that there is monogamy forever? I don't know. I'll be glad for those who find it. But I kinda expect it to be serial monogamy. And of course, for others there are other options. Lots. Of.

I get the feeling that the totem animal for me is either a turtle or a frog. It should be an insect of some sort, or if it was possible, a plant. But what comes up consistently is turtle and frog. Thus, I think I'm a herpetile!!

I'm torn between cremation because then I won't take up much space and a non-casket type burial. I'm thinking at some point, when I'm a little more settled (read: employed and self sufficient) I would like to make my own winding sheet. I agree with someone else here (and probably a lot more than one person), I have a huge problem with people that can't use the english language properly. As in people who have been speaking and writing english their entire lives, not those still learning.

i used to use straws and pens to drink out of running streams of water in the bathtub. I got the idea of a macGyver episode in which he used a pen to drink from a mossy hillside. Go idolization of Richard Dean Anderson!

Weirdest convo ever was what I heard in the walmart bathroom. Two girls were discussing the results of one of their pregnancy tests. In the store. In the bathroom. That they had JUST TAKEN!!
Oh, and they were discussing what they would have done if it had been positive. Fortunately (for all??) it was negative.

Probably one of the best things was free (mom bought it for me) but it only cost her $30. It is an old parka style coat with embroidery on the hem. It has a waterproof/windproof dark blue shell with embroidery on the hem and the inner coat is brilliant orange and has a fur trimmed hood (yes real fur!) and the linings in the pockets was last ( Read more... )

Mountains any day! Mostly cause I'm used to them far more than to the ocean. And while the weather may be harsh, and storms may blow in suddenly (and the black flies can be devils on earth!) it wins over the risk of tsunami and red tides, and earthquakes (thinking west coast of canada) and overpopulation. Ha! The idea of hurricanes here are just funny! I live up in the interior, we occasionally get small tornados and big winds but definitely not hurricanes. Not to mention, the province is on the west coast...west coast = no hurricanes.
