I guess the current total damages on our car is around $7300. That's about $1000 shy of being totaled. While I don't really want the car to be considered totaled (because even if insurance pays off the loan, we're back to square one with no money for a down-payment on another car),but at the same time if the car is fixed, deductible or no ( Read more... )

that's a nice drawing, jhonny boy.
you'd think that since you're going to a really nice and expensive school, that you'd be able to make a cool drawing...but no. haha..i kid, i kid.

maybe, since i can't get a girlfriend for the life of me, i'll just skip that whole process and go straight to asking the girl to marry me, rather than go to dinner. then i can help you and rhea out with advice...and you can help us.

i am smrrrt

Yr dmmmmb! I thought it was a good drawing.

If you ask someone to marry you, you just might get lucky. It happened to me, right?

Oh, this sucks. I'm sorry to hear it. It's at least good that there is still a chance she will be held at fault, but even that won't make up for the emotional and energy drain these things have. When Josh and I first moved to Boston we took the car that I had gotten when I was 16 and he promptly totaled it and it was his fault and he was hurt and there were children in the other car. It was a mess, so I can empathize with where you are right now. We're not married or anything and I don't think we're technically young anymore (sob.), but we have lived together for 5 years and know how the money and time problems go. So, I don't know if we can offer you much support, but we can get some veg food together sometime and talk.

Yeah, it's not so much that we don't have a car right now, or that we have to take the bus to Whole Foods or bike to work, but that we don't know what's going to happen next, and we have to make countless phone calls and fill out tons of paperwork. This is all we've thought about for the past week, and it def. is draining.

Some veg. food would be nice. We're going to be out of town from Mon. until Sunday, but after that, Grasshopper's or something of that nature is in order for sure...you might have to pick us up from Porter Sq. stop, though, haha.
