My visit to the security fence, aka "the wall."

Mar 07, 2004 06:23

This Friday I went on a free tour of the controversial Israeli "wall," personally hosted by Israeli Russian immigrant Natan Sharansky, Israel's minister of the diaspora. I've only become aware of how major this war is to Jews and Palis alike. All of my friends keep giving their suggestions and opinions. However, until their family has lived in an area for thousands of years. . .are kicked off and massacred. . .and try to move back to regain thet land. . .they don't know how it feels. And they will always think that 'the Jews think they own everything.'

Poor misguided American fools.

I'm confused. Are you referring to the Jews or the Palestinians?

on which part?
I'm talking pro-Zionist here
People don't understand the plight

I was saying that the Jews owned the land
They were uprooted from it
And now, they want to reclaim a little piece
It shouldn't be a big deal
It was theirs in the first place

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure, since some people make that very same argument for Palestinians, even though they have not been there for thousands of years.
