I..HATE..ISRAELI...BEURACRACY!! It was this beuracracy that kept my dad from making Aaliyah when he was younger, as is any Jewish person's right. It has hit me pretty hard recently. I was supposed to get some blood tests, so I was told to fast for 12 hours and then come back. I fasted for 12 hours, came back. They drew my blood and told me to come ( Read more... )

Today it actually RAINED in Be'er Sheva, no joke. The way people have reacted to this light rain you'd think it were the storm of the century. Any Minnesotan would LAUGH in these people's faces, as this was pretty much Minnesota on a good Summer's day. I should mention to those who replied a few entries ago that the weekend after my trip to Jerusalem I went to a suburb of Tel Aviv.
