My friend Greg does this thing that seems drunken fool proof, and it's totally basic. You get a thing of like Pilsbury dough tube biscuits. Break off two perforated hunks. Stick one in each side of a fire-holder-over-two-piece-tongs-with-a-griddle thing. Know what I'm talking about? Slop a hunk of meat & a slice of cheese twixt the dough and shut it. Hold over fire until it seems like a good idea to eat it.

The metal things, like a big metal flyswatter that opens on a hinge at the end furthest from handles.

You can make grilled cheese, mini pizzas, whatever. Butter the side of the bread slice that will be against the iron, layer in pepperoni, cheese, maybe a litte sauce or a tomato slice. Clip it closed, heat, turning now and then.
