more inclined towards western medicine on dis. so wat function does the yin energy in our body has? is wat u r learning from TCM contradicts western medicinal believes/practices?

The yang energy is for protection while the yin energy is for nourishing. When we are sick, the yang energy has to rise out to do its work.

Actually both description are correct even though they are so different.
