So, I'm driving down the road, flipping through radio stations when I hear a commercial for some pet store (PetSmart or PetLand or whichever one it is that has the PALS V.I.P. card). In the background a choir is singing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. Except it's NOT the Hallelujah Chorus--it's the PALS-alujah Chorus! To advertise their upcoming PALSalujah sale! Seriously, some people ought to be shot for coming up with ideas like these. I bet Handel wishes they had earplugs in Heaven.

I think that, in heaven, they are really good at the subconscious neural supression of extraneous background auditory stimuli.

PS-you're right. That IS a really bad one.
