No job no mo'

So yeah, got laid off on Friday. I didn't really expect that, but wasn't suprised either. The company was completely going under. It was making no sales, and one by one all of my co-workers either quit or were fired. I was literally the last (wo)man standing. I feel pretty zen about it. Boooooooooo! I'm sorry about the job, but I'm happy you're so zen about it. It definitely wasn't your fault, and maybe now you can find something better!

Thanks, Cari! I'm suprised that I feel so calm about it. I'm more relieved than sad. Job panic will probably set in if I don't find anything in say, a month, but for now I'm okay. I'll survive.

I'm sure you don't need prodding, but I advise you get on unemployment ASAP. That way, the transition is much easier and etc etc. Don't delay!

And best of luck finding a new (better/more fulfilling/worthwhile/fill-in-the-blank) job. These things seem to work out well, oftentimes.
