ummmm, I took out a loan and I'm going to buy some land, a tent, and a 4 wheel drive. The plan is to take a semester or two off school and pay off the loan, and live in the tent so I don't have to pay rent and I can actually own my own place. so the weather is better, and it doesn't look like i will have to move after all. jodi is leaving town monday on schedule, and leaving me a note on what to do if shit happens.
all is well.

so the wolf creek fire is burning down chena hot springs road, and it was right around the hot springs itself last night. I'm not getting too worked up, because that gives us like 35 or 40 miles of padding to burn before we're in trouble. Been kind of exciting down here. Played on the tractor and killed lots of blackberries, and now I'm burning them off. Nice and clean looking, so we can plant the whole native flora in it's place. Will look very nice in a few years, and it makes me brownie points with my dad ( Read more... )
