*grins* Yay! Kara has had it pretty rough here, having to be cautious around Kal, so she's quite happy she has a family member she can talk to now. :)

Middles and Ends come after Beginnings don't they? So there'll be more right? Right?

It seems likely that there are three more arcs of...maybe 6-10 chapters each? So two Middles and an Ending. :) I just finished the first chapter of the next arc last night, but I'll want to get well into it, maybe even finish completely, before posting so the Beta can keep me in line. :)

In short: there will almost certainly be more. Thanks for being interested enough to ask! *grin*

Woohoo! I just read through this and it's wonderful.

I love how you're incorporating the various characters into your world and their roles.

Awesome job. I'm really glad to hear that you'll be continuing....since it means I won't have to hunt down and kill you ~_^

*whew* Dodged a buillet there! *grin* Seriously, I'm delighted you liked it. I'm having so much fun with the continuation...assuming all goes well, I'm guessing it will start to get posted in early August.

'Our friend in Metropolis...?'

Maybe that should be "Our 'friend' in Metropolis." Technically on the same side, but much more willing to use radical methods. And very unlikely to be impressed with Kal at all. *grin*

*hugs Kara* She's had a tough arc, holding back in front of Kal! But now she has three reliable companions in her life and will be much happier. (I really fell in love with her in this arc and was hard-pressed not to leap to her defense when people naturally criticized her, lol!)

I really, really enjoyed this first arc of The House of the Earth! The character-development was wonderful, and I liked the slow reveal of how this universe *really* is to Kal and how his eyes are opened to it. The development of Bruce Wayne, his background story and how he became the man he is, was *very* well-written and really fun to read! The development of the relationship between Bruce and Kal was also done really well, with the small, subtle hints pointing in the romantic direction ^^. But I think my favorite part in this arc so far was Alfred's wordplay when he realized Bruce had returned to Gotham. "You don't need to say anything at all, young master. I know your heart. I don't need to hear your voice." Totally awesome <3 ( ... )

*grins and hugs you* Thank you so much! I was really unsure I'd be able to write the slow unfolding of the reality of the world without it getting confusing, so I'm glad it seems to have worked. :)

With Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Kara, Bruce and now Kal on their side, I see the humans getting a real leg-up in their battle for freedom!

J'onn alone--the shapeshifting, telepathy, and flight--makes a huge difference. And the members of the Corps are helping as well...very covertly for now. It does potentially tip the balance quite a bit!

I just started the next arc a couple of days ago and I can hardly wait to have enough time to really be able to dig into it. :)

I haven't seen Gotham Knights yet, and I'm dying to! We've ordered it but it hasn't shipped. OMG, Kevin Conroy doing volunteer work would be overwhelmingly awesome. I must hear it...

Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback, you make my day!

You did! *grins and hugs you* Aw, I couldn't have Kara be bad, it would kill me. :) She's been playing her cards really close even in front of Kal until she could be certain, and it's been breaking her heart...
