Yay! I had such a blast reading this, and while I had my suspicions about Kara, the Zhon thing was a great surprise. Wonderful, and I hope you do more with this universe. :D

I'm glad Kara was just suspicious enough to keep people from giving up on her entirely. *grin* I just started work on the second arc this week--there should be four in total--so there probably won't be a hugely long wait for more. :) Thanks so much for commenting and I'm glad you're liking it so far!

I'm so glad Kara's not an evil Kryptonian overlord. I do hate it when she and Kal fight. I can't wait to see what their friend in Metropolis thinks of Kal.

I couldn't quite bear to have Kara evil here! :) I really prefer when they're getting along...

The friend in Metropolis is unlikely to be too fond of Kal! Although he'll take his weapons where he can...

If DC were smart they'd snatch you up. Because you could so easily make things subtext and just show this deep, amazing friendship.

But I'm kind of glad they haven't. Because then someone would be bound to come later and retcon all your lovely stories and histories. Or people wouldn't appreciate the AU's.

And aw, thank you. *blushes* When they're written well in canon, they've got a friendship that I find too compelling not to write--that it becomes something more in my stories is always...kind of optional, I feel. It's a friendship that drives stories irresitably and I love writing it.

Just so you know, I've been illegally accessing the office internet to stalk your LJ for the new chapters <333. Sorry if that sounds creepy.

The ending/beginning is made of awesomesauce! (because it's totally a chapter that says "there's more, folks!" dkalfjdlajfdklasjlfk Zhon-Mal is totally a surprise. xD Love the tunnel that amplifies everything. Aww Kal and Bruce are just adorable. LOL at Kal's attempt at lying.

*hugs* Not creepy! I've started the second arc and will probably be putting it up after an arc of "Music of the Spheres" so...maybe early August or so? I hope not much longer...

Kal is such a bad liar! He's going to have to get better fast...I pity poor Bruce, having to teach him how to dissemble. :)

Ahhahahaha, yes, I was wondering how many people might reach that happy conclusion. I don't think they ever had sex, nope. They've got a good brother-sister vibe and Kara's heart is elsewhere, I think. :)
