Squee! Kal gets Clark and meets Jonathan and Martha, which is just awesome!

I couldn't resist finding some way to let him "have" the Clark persona. :)

Also, Kal and Bruce being alone together and away from the cities is filled with potential good moments... But also bad, because eum... arguments and stuff? Kal and Bruce don't seem to be the time of people who get along with each other all the time, there's got to be some sort of friction, maybe.

Much as I hate writing disagreements, I figure there's really got to be. They have too much unresolved. But I'd like to think the underlying respect will come through for each of them.

Also, Diana! That's so cool! I can't possibly imagine Diana condoning slavery, even if she doesn't like human males. She doesn't seem like the type. So there is a potential ally there and if they have Diana on their side, maybe Themyscira will follow.Unless they've been actively twisted, I have a hard time imagining even AU versions of the DC heroes condoning slavery, so...I think Diana and the Amazons ( ... )

Aaahh, what a perfect ending to the arc! :D Interesting twist with the engagement to Diana, and I'm so thrilled that Kal gets to be Clark now! ^_^ Boy, I hope he grows into that role quickly. O_O

So sad we have to wait some time before the next arc, but I'll be greatly looking forward to it! *hugs*

I'm really happy to find a way for Kal to be Clark as well. :) I'm really looking forward to writing it. *small sigh* I've had images of it in mind for a while but it'll be fun to get it down and real, you know? :)

Bruce leapt to his feet and paced over to where Kal slouched in his chair. "I'm afraid so, mistress." He lowered himself to the floor like a cascade of grace and twined his arms around Kal's leg. "I'm all his now, and I don't think he'd be willing to relinquish me." He gazed up at Kal, eyelashes fluttering, adoration etched on his features. "Would you, master?"

Hee. *pets Bruce* Ooooh, I really liked the 'cascade of grace' part. So pretty!

Bruce plays his role with relish because he trusts us.

Hee, I thought he was having fun! :p

Bruce tilted his head, looking at her. "It's rather pretty, but not as pretty as you, mistress." He turned and went over to Kal, but rather than sitting at his feet curled up in his lap like a large cat. "But then, I have no need of poetry when I have my brave master, my strong master, who is poetry incarnate."

Hee! *glomps Bruce*

Kal watched the door slip shut behind her. In his arms, Bruce twitched slightly, lost in some dream, and made a small sound. It didn't sound unhappy.*pets Bruce and wraps him ( ... )

I see this Bruce as very self-consciously pretty....it's an interesting tension!

Oooooh! Diana's going to show up, is she? Hmmm.

She is! Maybe at the end of the next arc, maybe not until the fourth arc, but she'll be there! I'm looking forward to writing it, lol...and I'll have time to tinker with it, too, looks like. *unhappy sigh*

Can I just say I did the happy dance a whole lot while reading this? I know it sounds all sorts of wrong, but I can't keep from grinning like an idiot and rejoicing over this. :)

The idea of Kal having to marry Diana is really kinda sad for them (all of them, I expect) but I was too busy being all happy at the thought of the trinity coming together to really feel sorry for them. *lol* /is a dork.

And then, BANG!, you come along with the glasses and "Clark" and...and... well, really, how can you expect a fangirl not to squee?

The rest was so sweet and... aww! turned me into mush. hee! :)

Mean as this sounds, I love this AU! :)

The idea of Kal having to marry Diana is really kinda sad for them (all of them, I expect) but I was too busy being all happy at the thought of the trinity coming together to really feel sorry for them.

LOL! I suspect Diana's not going to be terribly keen on coming between the two of them...but I'm hoping she'll be kick-ass.

Awww, the icon is so cute for this! I really liked the idea of Kal getting to learn to be Clark a little bit...
