Already I love where this retelling of the alien amongst humans angle is going. Plus previously there was talk of Green Lanterns meeting the underground, and now there's Amazons possibly forming an alliance with the Kryptonians. Might there be a third powerful group in the waiting, such as the homo magi?

I have wanted to write Clark and Bruce on a road trip for so long, but...how to get them to take their time when one can fly and one has jets and neither is a patient man? But then I realized this AU might actually work for it, so...we shall see! :)

Oh, I am in SUCH NEED of a FLAIL!!! icon. SUCH NEED. I can't even--I'm screaming and shrieking and it's such a good thing the people who live around me know to ignore me when I do that because DIANA. Oh, my god, Kal's marrying Diana! Who'll get to join the resistance and see through Bruce and Kal immediately (what's the Kryptonian deal with body slaves and marriage? Will Kal get to keep Bruce, or will he have to go back to Kara for versimilitude?) She's going to be about eighty kinds of awesome, and also it will take her forever to actually LIKE Kal because I can't imagine her liking slavers and Kal's one of them and . . . and . . . WHEE!!

Also, OMG, Clark Kent! And Ma and Pa Kent! YAY! I can't even begin to articulate the awesome. Bruce is such a . . . I don't know, and his LONGING to be with Kal as an equal is going RIGHT over Kal's head. The next segment should prove entertaining.

I'll confess I'm hoping/planning on the resistance starting its final push before the marriage comes through. :) But she'll be showing up at least in the last arc, one hopes to kick some righteous ass. :)

Technically I think legally Kal could keep Bruce, but his wife would probably have some legal rights over him as well...so I'm sure Bruce is happier to be taking a chance with Diana rather than Syra right now.

I'm looking forward to the chance to write Clark meeting the Kents! Smallville: Hub of the Resistance, yay! :)

And Bruce wanting ... a more ambitious dream than Kal dares allow himself. Oh, that is so sweet and beautiful and very, very them. Not to mention Kara's explanation for the flirting ... oh, that was beautiful indeed, and so very well done! Thank you. And Bruce curled up all tired and asleep in Kal's lap ... *sighs happily*

And Diana! Oh, now. The Trinity comes to the new world. How ... interesting. *smiles musingly* I have been wondering about the other forces. Atlantis? The others?

Anyway! What a way to finish this arc, and what a promise for the next (roadtrip! Hee)! Wonderful!

I'll be curious to see what Diana insists on doing! I hadn't planned on her originally, and yet...there she is.

I think Atlantis has the same sort of cautious truce with the Kryptonians...they don't mess with each other. I'm not sure Arthur is happy about that, exactly, but he's always been rather more aloof than Diana...

Roadtrip! I've wanted to write one for ages, and this AU lent itself nicely to it. :)
