Cindy, the Dog that Lived, Illness, and other stuff.

I've had a shocking start to the New Year, and yeah, a bad Christmas too. The only light was the delight of getting several cards and small gifts from my friends here. Thanks to all, but particularly to Soledad for the copy of 'Eclipse of the Crescent Moon' which I haven't started yet due to illness which has affected my concentration ( Read more... )

Criminelly, I thought I had problems. Bike Club? What's the Bike Club? They sound nasty.

I hope poor Cindy makes a full recovery. Though I feel bad for Rosie too.

I hope your teeth are better now. My dad had an infection that went into his jawbone once, and man was he is pain from that. And you couldn't even get treated like you should have because of the bike club people?!

Yeesh, I hope things turn around for you. I'll say prayers.

The bike club is a sporting club whose Motorcross track is next our farm. For 20 years they have been harressing us, trying to force us to give them our land. Needless to say, we will not give in.

Cindy is getting much better thanks. I spoke to her former owner last night, who, after being on urgent fire alert for two weeks, and loosing friends in the Kinglake fires, was so relieved to have some good news she cried.

My teeth are much too, thanks again. I hope your Dad never has a jaw infection again, the pain is massive. Thanks too for the prayers.

*glomp* I wondered where you went, it seemed so recent that you said that you had time to play again. But with all of that going on! I am so glad that you are on the mend. I am so sorry to hear about Rosie dear *warm hug* Take it easy honey. Here on the 26th of Jan our daughter Susannah was born, so yes after a hard and horrible year, this year looks so so so much better.

I'm glad you're back.

What a horrible way to start the new year. Now they're firing bullets at you? WTF? What is it going to take to get the police to intervene?

Tooth problems are the devil. They hurt like all get out. It's impossible to think clearly when you're in that much pain. I'm glad that your getting better.

I'm sorry to hear about Rosie. That must have been a horrible shock. Poor Cindy!

The trouble is, while we know it was a bike club member, we don't know which one. The Police can only charge an individual, not an organisation, and of course the bike club won't say who it was.

Thanks for the good thoughts for Cindy, she is much better now!

Oh, dear! What a horrible start into the new year! I'm glad you got the book, at least. When you come to the siege of the fortress, you'll find some wonderful curse words the Hungarian hurl against their enemies. Repeat them whenever you feel to say bad, BAD things - they can relieve one from stress wonderfully.

Sorry to hear about your illness. I hope you will heal completely. But it's a sad thing when one has to fear the hospital staff because this long-going hostility.

I hope you get rid of the f*ckers, soon. I know, the proper Christian thing would be to preach forgiveness, but since I haven't been a good little Christian for quite some time, I say: to the Hell with them all!

Love you and am very, very happy that you're back with us. Hopefully, the dog will recover, too.

I think like you, that the time for forgiveness is past, and the time to deal with them has dawned. Plans are afoot that could see this club distroyed for ever!! Totally legally too.

I will make a good note of the curses, I could use some new ones!

Thanks for the love and good wishes.
