Steve's up and mobile, is downstairs watching Atlantis and Sanctuary, has had lots of food today and just got up and grabbed ice cream. I am very relieved. He'll be checking his email later tonight. He's also off the narcotic painkiller and onto Advil, maybe two or three times a day. He'll be looking forward to tomorrow, if he'll be reclining ( Read more... )

He is in a butt-load of pain, and there is some swelling, but the doctor said that's all within normal functions. Doesn't help when he's been in bed most of the day wiped out from hurt. We're going to try ice and heat next, because essentially, he's recovering from the biggest nut-shot a guy can take ( Read more... )

I guess he didn't tell anyone, but Steve had a bi-lateral hernia he needed repaired. The surgery went fine, he's home not six hours later, and will be convalescing over the next few days.
