Here are some great reasons why we should all sign up for e-billing. For me it's hard to think of not having the security of a hard copy of things that are important, but the reasons are pretty compelling. All the more compelling after my recent visit to Vancouver Island with Boubabe, where all the Big Trees live.

Not only can I ride a motorcycle, after having gotten my license last summer, but now I will ride a motorcycle, hopefully on a regular basis.  One of the gals that I took my street riding course with last year was upgrading, and I bought myself (ok... ourselves) a cute little Suzuki Savage 650. Today I discovered that you can't buy refills for eyelash curlers anymore, you have to buy another eyelash curler.

This writer thinks the hydrogen economy is a pipe dream  He doesn't bring up anything about possibly using hydroelectric to split water during off peak hours, or tidal energy.  I also remember reading something about efforts to find a hydrogen storage medium that is a solid or liquid, rather than storing it in gaseous form.

Gmail is not the little grassroots upstart it used to be.

I started on gmail because I liked the interface. Recently we've changed phone systems at our office.  There were some errors on the part of Telus which forced us to adopt a phone message system for about two weeks, and I've left it turned on since then.  I've really discovered that I hate voicemail.  Or maybe a better choice of words is "Come to terms with".
